City and Mateo Kovacic are close to a deal, with both parties reportedly finalizing the details.

 Mateo Kovacic, a Croatian nationality who plays midfield for the Blue's, however has a 4 time Champions League winner record.

  The big question now is; will he make a difference or impact to city squad?

Based on reports from Soccer Struggle; If City are convinced that they want to get the deal done this week, it will be exciting for their fans to have a new addition to the team.

  According to Soccer Struggle Manchester City is continuing to pursue its top target, Josko Gvardiol, after finalizing a deal with Kovacic.

   Gvardiol, a Croatian CB, is reportedly close to agreeing on personal terms with the club.

 However, negotiations with RB Leipzig, his current team, are still required, as they are seeking a higher fee than the previously reported €80 million. 

It remains to be seen whether Leipzig will be willing to part with Gvardiol, as they are hoping to keep him.
