It appears that Arsenal have made a new proposal to Chelsea for Kai Havertz, with talks advancing.

The reported proposed fee is £60m, with a potential deal being concluded around £65m.

According to Soccer Struggle;  Havertz has reportedly expressed a desire to move to Arsenal.

With Chelsea not qualifying for champions league next season. It will be interesting to see how the negotiations progress between the two clubs.

Kai Havertz who joined Chelsea ahead of the 2020/21 season  had a difficult start to his time at the club, but has since shown glimpses of his potential.

Through out his time with Chelsea, he scored 19 G/A in 44 appearance in all competition.

He's well know for his goal against Man city in the champions league final which won them the title.

He has shown versatility playing in various positions such as attacking midfielder, winger, and false 9, although he has primarily played in an attacking midfield role.

His performances have been inconsistent at times but has shown flashes of brilliance sometimes.

While he has yet to hit top form at Chelsea, it is clear that he is a talented player with a bright future ahead of him.

There were rumors linking Kai Havertz to Real Madrid prior to his move to Chelsea, but it's not clear why Real Madrid ultimately did not pursue him further. It is possible that they had other targets in mind or that they did not see him as a good fit for their squad.

With his technical abilities, dribbling skills and vision makes him a threat to opposition defenses and would undoubtedly be a good back up to the injury prone Brazilian forward; Gabriel Jesus.

      Arsenal signed Havertz for £65m.

It will be interesting to see how the final structure of the deal is worked out, including any add-ons and payment terms.

Havertz's reported preference for joining the Gunners, due in part to Mikel Arteta's admiration, certainly makes this a significant signing for Arsenal.
